Red Wolf Moon
In a quiet eastern coastal North Carolina town, tensions flare when a farmer fatally shoots an endangered red wolf. A species bred in captivity and set free upon the Alligator River nature reserve. Meanwhile, Ginny Miranda Dare, an enigmatic figure in the community who operates the local doggy day care, sets loose all the town's dogs, encouraging them to unite with the wolves inhabiting the nearby swamp.
Red Wolf Moon is a musical production that weaves together elements of shadow puppetry and music.
This play is the result of a collaboration between the playwright and Wood Robinson, a prominent member of the North Carolina-based band, Mipso.
